And Jeff Bezos the creator of Amazon rose to the top spot very quickly this year’s net worth of $131bn. These are some data about the richest persons in the world. Studying the poor is the hottest topic in the economics world right now. We have seen two economists got Nobel Prize for working on the poor people’s life and answering the question of how to create a better world for the poor. But it’s also true that academicians who study the patterns and behaviors of the rich should get the same importance as the poor.
Some of the top traits about the richest person in the world are most of them are Americans, some of the Indian billionaires are joining the group since 2008. However, the net worth of billionaires declined in 2009 due to the great recession. She has been listed as one of the most influential teens in the world by Time magazine. She is also the most followed person as of March 2019 on Instagram with over 129 million.

Snap inc is one of the most fast-growing companies in the tech world. Guess what Evan the CEO of Snap is also one of the youngest billionaires in the industry. He acquired an astounding $3.2 Billion worth of assets as each day around 203 million people snap their photos and videos for a day. Evan co-founded the company in 2011 and since then it has become a huge hit. He owns 18% of the Snap inc. which also went public a few years ago.
3. Garrett Camp, Cofounder Uber Technologies Inc.

The ride-hailing app Uber was co-founded by Garrett in 2009. He is on the list of billionaires under 40. He is currently holding the Chairman position and responsible for transforming the taxi service in the world. It connected millions of drivers and riders through a mobile app. After completing the ride Uber cuts a share from it. Brian is the co-founder of Airbnb which is a peer to peer room rental company. He is currently working as the CEO of the company with a net worth of $4.2 Billion. Currently, Airbnb is functional in almost 191 countries which is a huge success in such a short time. He was a former bodybuilder and industrial designer in Los Angeles before founding the room rental service along with Nathan Blecharczyk and Joe Gebbia in 2008.
5. Mark Zuckerberg, Chairman and CEO Facebook

Mark is the Ace of all the young billionaires in Silicon Valley. Mark started Facebook in 2004 at Harvard along with his roommates. He was then only 19 years old now holding $70 Billion in assets. Facebook went public in May 2012 and he holds around 15% stake of the company. Recently, Mark came to spotlight again for introducing a new global currency for facebook. Many times in his life he has been accused of breaching user privacy, facebook addiction of students and tax avoidance by facebook. Still, he successfully controlled all the situations and facebook has a user base of 2.41 billion.
